In both transactions and litigation, Adorno Yoss Wong Fleming attorneys have protected the intellectual property rights of our clients. Our intellectual property attorneys have conducted intellectual property audits, identifying and implementing strategies to protect valuable copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets. We have drafted and reviewed employment agreements as they relate to the development of intellectual property, including patents, in the workplace. We have also filed copyright applications leading to the registration of a wide variety of works, and have drafted and recorded with the United States Copyright Office documents related to the licensing and assignment of those works. We have also obtained trademark registrations from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) and prepared and recorded documents related to the licensing of those marks.
In addition, we have appeared at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and successfully contested a final refusal by the USPTO to register certain trademarks. We have also successfully arbitrated disputes over domain names at the National Arbitration Foundation. We have litigated trademark and/or copyright disputes, including foreign-owned copyrights by way of the Berne Convention, against Harvard University, Body Glove, and on behalf of international media corporations and non-profit educational organizations.
