Wong Fleming Chosen by Law360 as a “Best Law Firm for Women and Minority Attorneys”

Wong Fleming is pleased to announce that Law360 has chosen the firm as a “Best Law Firm for Women and Minority Attorneys.” In an article published July 11, Law360 identified 25 firms, segmented by size, with above-average representation of women and minorities in every tier of the firm.

In the category of law firms with 20 to 49 attorneys, only two law firms in the country were acknowledged as a best law firm for women and minority attorneys, and Wong Fleming was one of those firms.

The ranking is part of the publication’s nationwide annual “Diversity Snapshot” series which compiles data from more than 300 U.S. firms around the country to determine the current state of diversity in the legal profession. While some firms have outranked their peers through their on-going commitment to create a strong and inclusive workforce, legal services remain one of the least diverse professions in the country.

Wong Fleming is a previous winner of the MCCA’s Thomas Sager Award for excellence in the promotion of diversity. We believe the hiring, retention, and promotion of diverse attorneys in leadership roles is critical. More than 75% of our partners are women and/or minorities and more than 80% of our attorneys are women and/or minorities. We believe that our sustained commitment to the promotion of diversity in the legal profession is in the best interest of our clients, providing a talented workforce that brings strong and effective advocacy while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
