Hill, a Partner in the Washington, DC and Baltimore offices of Wong Fleming, attended the Minority Media & Telecommunications Counsel’s (MMTC) 5th Annual Broadband and Social Justice Summit on January 15-16, 2014 in Washington, D.C at the Westin Georgetown Hotel.   The summit, entitled, “Bridging the Gap: Infrastructure, Education, & Equity in the Digital Economy,” brought together key stakeholders from government and industry to discuss ways to advance issues of equity and inclusion for minority owned businesses.  The summit highlighted how Internet adoption is the great equalizer – it creates jobs and entrepreneurship, promotes STEM education, and enables the creation of diverse content and applications that result in improvements in telehealth, digital education, and entrepreneurship.
