David A. Hill has joined the law firm of Wong Fleming as a Partner in their Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland offices. A litigator and business lawyer, his practice includes an extensive background in counseling clients on regulatory matters, particularly relating to the telecommunications field. Mr. Hill has counseled Verizon senior management on significant regulatory initiatives, represented large and small business clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, represented individuals and businesses in commercial disputes, and counseled start-up entities on business formation, including incorporating businesses, and forming limited liability corporations.
Previously, as Vice President and General Counsel of Verizon’s Maryland and Washington, D.C. companies, Mr. Hill successfully represented Verizon’s interests on regulatory and business matters, before serving as a liaison between Verizon and the Obama Administration. Mr. Hill has frequently lectured before organizations, such as the Technology Policy Institute, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and the Minority Media and Telecommunications Counsel. Prior to serving for 17 years in positions of increasing scope and authority at Bell Atlantic and Verizon, Mr. Hill was in private practice for three years in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Hill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with High Honors, from Wesleyan University and received his Juris Doctorate degree, Cum Laude, from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
