Kimberly Salamone is an Associate at the Princeton, New Jersey Office of Wong Fleming

Wong Fleming welcomes Kimberly Salamone as an Associate in the firm’s Princeton, New Jersey office, where her practice is concentrated on Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy.

Ms. Salamone received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.

Ms. Salamone has significant experience representing Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in both consumer and complex business liquidation matters, including but not limited to successful liquidation of general contractors and sub-contractors. She has also represented Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustees, as well as consumer and business debtors, and has worked on bankruptcy asset sales, prosecution and defense of avoidance actions, and prosecution of discharge complaints, as well as out-of-court workouts, related negotiations, and restructurings.

While attending law school at the University of Miami, Ms. Salamone was an active member of the Society of Bar and Gavel, also serving as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She was an intern and fellow in the Community Economic Development and Design clinic, and during her tenure, the clinic was honored with the Innovative Service in Public Interest Award for their work in Coconut Grove’s Village West. Ms. Salamone was honored by Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges in 2010. She received the Honorable Lenore Carrero Nesbitt Scholarship for Public Service, the Dean’s Certificate for Outstanding Performance in Legal Research & Writing, and served as a commencement ceremony marshal.

After graduation, Ms. Salamone participated in the University of Miami School of Law’s Legal Corps Fellowship program, working with the bankruptcy division at the Put Something Back Project of the Legal Aid Society of the Dade County Bar Association, and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. At Legal Aid, she conducted interviews, and counseled and advised clients on consumer bankruptcy issues.

In her free time, Ms. Salamone enjoys spending quality time with her dog, knitting, and cheering on the New York Giants/Rangers/Yankees.
