Princeton, NJ – January 16, 2013 – Wong Fleming is pleased to announce that the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law presented the 2012 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award to our founder and CEO, Linda Wong.

The presentation took place at the Commission’s Professionalism Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Pines Manor in Edison.  Each year, bar associations across the state present these awards to a small, select group of lawyers and retired judges who by virtue of their exemplary conduct, competence and demeanor, set a positive example for others in the legal profession. The award was presented by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner and the Hon. Jerome Simandle.

Ms. Wong is a trial lawyer and litigator who has tried many cases in the federal and state courts in New Jersey, and she now maintains a national litigation practice for her clients, many of whom are well-known Fortune 500 companies.  She is the Chair of Wong Fleming’s Employment Practice Group and she also focuses her practice on commercial litigation and insurance coverage disputes.  Her reputation for integrity is well-known to her colleagues at Wong Fleming and we are proud that she has now received this statewide honor for her commitment to zealous advocacy tempered by civility to the bench and bar.
