Qian Xie is an Associate in the Firm’s Redmond, Washington office. Mr. Xie advises domestic companies in hiring foreign employees and represents individuals and corporations across numerous industries on a diverse array of immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas H-1B, L, TN and O, PERM labor certification, permanent residence and citizenship. Mr. Xie also has extensive experience in preparing investment based immigrant visa petitions. Additionally, Mr. Xie counsels domestic and international companies throughout the entire lifespan of a business-from entity formation, through operation, management, and ultimate disposition of the business.

As an immigration and corporate attorney, Mr. Xie advises and trains clients on a range of employment-based immigration matters, as well as assists in the development of immigration strategies, programs and processes for employers to reduce exposure, safely navigate and effectively manage foreign national workers, as well as counsels companies on compliance requirements from governmental agencies, including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and U.S. Department of State (DOS), and assists with the requisite disclosure and documentation requirements.

Mr. Xie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Purdue University in 2012. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Hastings College of Law, University of California in 2015. He is admitted to practice law in Washington State and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association as well as the King County Bar Association.
