Barron91714bPartner Barron Stroud served as a panelist for the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council’s Training and Education Committee on November 17, 2015 in Washington, D.C.

The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council’s Education and Training Committee presented “The State of Prime and Subcontracting Relationships” at PEPCO Edison Place Gallery located in Washington, DC on November 17, 2015.  The event was attended by corporate members and minority business owners. Panel discussions led by Roland Jones, Director of Central Services (Prince George’s County, MD), provided insights for MBE’s seeking to maximize growth and opportunities in the non-construction subcontracting arena.

Panelists included: Ken Kelly, Managing Partner of Strativia; Margaret Pendley, Senior Manager of Contracts and Commercial Management of CSC; Herbert Jordan, Deputy Secretary of MD GOMA; Anita Perkins, Commercial Market Representative of SBA Washington District; and Barron L. Stroud, Partner at Wong Fleming Attorneys at Law.

The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMDSC) is one of 24 regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
