Partner Linda Wong has been invited to chair a panel on Regulatory Investigations at the First Annual Minority In-House Counsel Association Conference In Chicago, Illinois on September 10th.

Linda2013sMs. Wong will chair a presentation on regulatory matters from the perspective of investigations by state human rights agencies, class action investigations by the NY Attorney General’s office, investigations by the SEC and bank regulatory investigations.  In-house counsel from several Fortune 500 companies and a representative from the US Attorney’s office who has  handled government investigations will join Ms. Wong on the panel.  The purpose of the conference will be to introduce important business and legal skills necessary for success in today’s global and ever changing legal environment and to provide both knowledge and leadership skills regarding business principles and analysis. Business sessions will be presented in partnership with professors from Northwestern’s Kellogg Business School.

MIHCA was created to promote professional development, networking, and career advancement of minority in-house counsel; to enable minority in-house counsel to recruit other lawyers of color, and to further increase diversity in the legal profession, especially in corporations.
