Shahzad Qadri Earns CIPP/US Credential From the International Association of Privacy Professionals

Wong Fleming is proud to announce that Shahzad Qadri, Partner in the Firm’s Redmond, Washington office, has earned the highly esteemed ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The IAPP is the largest and most comprehensive information privacy community and resource, founded in 2000, and is responsible for developing and launching several globally recognized credentialing programs in privacy law.  The IAPP’s certifications are the gold standard for validating the privacy expertise of thousands of professionals around the world whereby they gain a requisite understanding of broad international concepts of privacy and data protection law and practice, including: jurisdictional laws, regulations and enforcement models; essential privacy concepts and principals; legal requirements for handling and transferring data and more.

About Shahzad Qadri

Shahzad Qadri is a Partner in the Firm’s Redmond, Washington office of Wong Fleming and Chair of the Immigration Law practice group.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of privacy, immigration law, real estate and corporate matters with a focus on investment based EB-5 Regional Centers.

Prior to joining Wong Fleming, Mr. Qadri served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the King County Prosecutors’ office in Seattle, Washington.  Mr. Qadri also has significant experience in the areas of insurance defense and toxic torts.

Mr. Qadri serves on the board of directors for the Seattle Credit Union, and he has the distinct honor of being named as a “rising star” in the legal profession by Law & Politics. Mr. Qadri was nominated as a fellow to the Washington Leadership Institute.
