Wong Fleming’s Dafney Dubuisson Stokes Elected as a Member of The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.

Wong Fleming is proud to announce that The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) recently elected our partner, Dafney Dubuisson Stokes, to membership in its exclusive organization.  The FDCC is the premier defense and corporate counsel organization for the most prominent defense attorneys in the nation.  FDCC is dedicated to leading the profession by advancing the principles of integrity, professionalism, fair civil justice, intellectual capital, and fostering the trust and value of fellowship and referrals to the FDCC peers. To advance and sustain an equitable civil justice system now, and for future generations, through a community and network of trusted, leading and innovative industry legal professionals.

“I am honored and delighted that such a prestigious organization like FDCC would consider me for membership and I will continue to do my best to uphold the values that FDCC expects its members to adhere to,” said Ms. Stokes. All FDCC nominees must be of high professional standing, actively practicing lawyers and of good moral character. There is a limit upon the number of lawyers in private practice who can be members. Members must be nominated and voted upon by an internal board of top practicing attorneys in their field. Guidelines are used by the Admissions Committee to encourage geographic distribution of membership and to be large enough to influence but small enough to be exclusive.
