Wong Fleming is proud to announce that two Partners have been selected to join IR Global, the largest international professional services network for lawyers, accountants, and business advisors. Partners Ramina-Dehkhoda Steele and Shahzad Qadri will represent the Firm as IR Global’s exclusive representatives for Corporate Law in Washington.
These new roles will enhance the firm’s existing representations within IR Global. Daniel C. Fleming, V.P. & Partner at Wong Fleming, serves as the designated representative for Commercial Litigation in New Jersey since 2018. Linda Wong, CEO & Partner, is the designated representative for Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation and Employment Law (Corporate) in New Jersey since 2018.
Ramina Dehkhoda-Steele is the Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Redmond, Washington office of Wong Fleming. Ms. Dehkhoda-Steele is Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She is an avid litigator and has extensive experience in various areas of the law. In addition to litigation, Ms. Dehkhoda-Steele focuses on complex technology transactions and complex real estate transactions.
Ms. Dehkhoda-Steele has represented many Fortune 500 companies in transactional matters and has been representing large companies with respect to general liability, premises liability, and insurance defense for the past 18 years.
Ms. Dehkhoda-Steele has an active arbitration and mediation practice and she is an Arbitrator with the AAA.
Shahzad Qadri is a Partner in the Firm’s Redmond, Washington office of Wong Fleming and focuses his practice on Corporate & Immigration Law. He concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate transactions including technology transactions, securities issues, private offerings, IPOS, corporate governance as well as business and immigration law, with a focus on investment based EB-5 Regional Centers. Additionally, he has a growing practice in the area of Privacy Law and has received his CIPP certification.
Prior to joining Wong Fleming, Mr. Qadri served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the King County Prosecutors’ office in Seattle, Washington. He also has considerable experience in toxic torts and insurance defense. Attorney Qadri’s remarkable performance as a lawyer has gained him great recognition; Law & Politics named him a rising star in the legal arena. He was also nominated by the Washington State Bar Association as a fellow to Washington Leadership Institute. Mr. Qadri was also awarded the John Gilmore (2014/2022) award for excellence in Advocacy for Minority Businesses by the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NW Mountain Council). Most recently Mr. Qadri was listed on FQ-Female Founder’s Expert Network: The Must-Know List.
Mr. Qadri has been named to Lawyers of Color’s Annual Hot List, which recognizes minority attorneys with exceptional achievements and contributions in the legal field. He was also awarded an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell.
