Lindie Johnston is an Associate in the Firm’s Sugar Land, Texas office. She is a member of the litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and private client services practice groups.

Ms. Johnston is experienced in probate, guardianship, fiduciary disputes, and estate-related litigation across Texas. Guardianship Certified by the State Bar of Texas, she has represented both applicants and respondents in contested matters involving adults and minors. In addition, she has experience in commercial litigation, employment disputes, real estate controversies, and contract matters, and has supported litigation and arbitration proceedings before county, state, and federal courts, as well as the American Arbitration Association, International Chamber of Commerce, JAMS, and multidistrict litigation panels. Earlier in her career, Ms. Johnston gained international legal experience in South Africa and the United Kingdom, where she worked on employment law, human resources, safety and environmental compliance, commercial transactions, litigation support, and contract management.

Ms. Johnston earned dual LL.M. degrees from the University of Houston Law Center, graduating summa cum laude, with Dean’s List honors, receiving the Weaver Lang Fellowship for academic excellence in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. She earned her J.D. equivalent (LL.B.) from the University of South Africa, graduating in the top 5% of her class, and she also holds a Paralegal Certificate from Rice University.
