We are pleased to share that Partner Florelee Lyles will be speaking on two panels at the upcoming Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy (”CBLA”) 10th Anniversary Conference in Minneapolis, MN, from June 25-27, 2023. Each year, the CBLA continues to strengthen the pipeline of diverse bar association leaders through training, professional development, and top-level networking opportunities. Ms. Lyles is a past APALA-NJ President and inaugural class CBLA alumna.
Ms. Lyles’ first panel titled “Balancing Being A Diversity Champion and Ensuring Professional Development” will be held on Monday, June 26 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and will cover strategies for balancing both diversity efforts and personal professional development, offering valuable tips for effectively advocating both.
Her second session titled “Board Burnout: How to Spot it and How to Avoid it” will be held on Tuesday, June 27 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and will cover how to identify professional burnout, effective leadership styles, tools, and resources to prevent it, and what to do when it occurs.
