Partner Linda Wong attended the United Educators First Annual Diverse Counsel Advancement Program from October 20, 2022 to October 21, 2022 in Bethesda, Maryland.

The Diverse Counsel Advancement Program (DCAP) provides opportunities to connect with defense counsel members from different companies and foster successful relationships.

United Educators (UE) serves the insurance needs of about 1600 members ranging from large university systems to small, independent K-12 schools. UE is committed to providing coverage and tools needed to efficiently operate campuses while managing education-specific risks. UE focuses exclusively on education and finding new ways to meet insurance coverage needs, manage risk and efficiently resolve claims.

Linda Wong is CEO and Partner of Wong Fleming. Ms. Wong received her juris doctorate in 1982 from Rutgers School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in 1976 from Rutgers University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. She is a certified Arbitrator for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Wong received the Trailblazer Award from the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey in 2015, was named Innovator of the Year by the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2014, was selected to serve as a member of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, and Women of Color Research Initiative Speaker Bureau in 2014. She was President, from 1993-1994, and Vice President, in 1990-1991 and 1991-1992, of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. Ms. Wong is a Member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms, Minority Corporate Counsel Association, National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, New Jersey Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
