Wong Fleming Recognizes Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

May 1, 2024 | by Wong Fleming

This May, we honor and recognize Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) residing in the United States, particularly those who have had a profound impact on the legal profession. Their invaluable contributions have not only advanced legal equity and diversity but have also opened doors for future generations of AANHPI lawyers. The AANHPI community, with its rich diversity comprising of over 50 ethnic groups and speaking more than 100 languages, originating from Asia and the Pacific Islands, each bring unique cultural traditions, ancestry, native languages, and experiences to the table. We pay tribute to these individuals that have left an unmistakable mark on our nation’s history, showcasing their diverse legacies, triumphs, and challenges as a testament to their resilience. Their inspiring stories remind us to honor our heritage while continuously striving for a brighter future.
